Cynthia Strayhorn Whisler, graduated with an Associate of Science degree in funeral service from Gupton-Jones College, Town, Georgia. Where she was a member of Pi Sigma Eta Honor Fraternity. She received her Indiana Funeral Directors License in 1997. A native of Indianapolis, she moved back in February of 1996 to join the Crown Hill Funeral Home team. "My motivation for entering the funeral profession was a calling from the Lord. I truly know by being obedient to His will, He placed me in the most beautiful and professional funeral home in Indianapolis. " "In serving the community at Crown Hill, I will provide an ear to listen, a heart of compassion and a mind for direction and knowledge. James D. Dixon, III , is a licensed funeral director in Indiana, Illinois and Missouri. He attended Forest Park Community College in St. Louis, MO. And Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago IL. He received his funeral directors license from Missouri in 1992; Illinois license in 1997 and Indiana in 1998. He began with Crown Hill Funeral Home on March 1, 1999. Leon R. Walker, a native of Mendota, Illinois, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa in 1969 and was a 1971 graduate of Indiana College of Mortuary Science. He received his Indiana Funeral Directors license in 1972. He is a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, Carmel, Indiana and a member and Past-President of Carmel Rotary Club. "I have been called to my profession by the Lord. My ministry is to serve others in their greatest hour of need.
