Marvin Bernard Young was born in Waterloo Iowa, on May 25, 1969 to Richard and Geraldine Young. Marvin graduated from Ben Davis High School and attended Business College; he was employed by the United States Postal Service until his time of death. Marvin lived 42 years Marvin was a good child; when Marvin came home from the hospital as an infant he would wake up crying every night about midnight, the playing of music would quickly quiet him down. Marvin was very well raised by his mother. Later in life he made his mother proud by staying in school and keeping his grades up, he never saw the inside of the Juvenile center. He loved basketball, football and music .He was a quiet and polite to others. Although he was an only child he had many cousins who loved him as a brother. After a brief stay in Community East Hospital, Marvin departed this life on January 21, 2012 at 4:30am He leaves to cherish his memory; his parents Richard and Geraldine Young, and one Daughter Candace C. McClennon, along with his grandmother Georgia McChristian. He also leaves behind eight aunts Robel Dean Wright, Elnora Tucker, Louella Brown, Patricia Murry, Mary Johnson, Anita Toby, Brenda Kay, Felica McChristian and five uncles Charles Young, Eddie Young, Lee Young, Boyd McChristian, and Opereed McChristian and a host of nieces, cousins, nephews and friends. Funeral InformationFuneral Services will be Saturday January 28, 2012 at Crown Hill Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN.
