Mr. Michael Alvert Wilson

October 29, 1948 - August 13, 2010

Michael Alvert Wilson (Mike) 61, of Indianapolis, died on Friday, August 13, 2010.
He was Air Traffic Control Systems Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He retired after 35 years of service with federal government, including four years of service with the United State Navy. After retirement from the federal government, Mike became a licensed Realtor ® for Century 21 Realty Group - McCoun.

He was the fourth child born to Emma Boone Wilson and Owen Wilson. Mike is deceased by both his parents and his brother James Boone. He is survived by his wife, Becky Hannon Wilson; daughters, Monique Wilson Stanley (Saul) and Mitzi Wilson; sisters, Doris Wilson (Harold) and Esther Wilson Washington; brother Charles Wilson (Eula); and he blessed the lives of many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Mike’s life will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268 on Saturday, August 21, 2010. Calling will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the service following at 12:00 p.m.
