Mrs. Elizabeth Mellett Davis

Elizabeth (Betty) Brooks Davis, 90, died September 3, 2010 in Atlanta, GA after a lengthy illness. A beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a loving wife, she dedicated her life to helping others.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Herzer of Atlanta, GA, two sisters Jean Huber and Martha Miller of Indianapolis, IN, two granddaughters Tracey Elizabeth Herzer and Wendy (Tag) Holmes, and a great-granddaughter Grace Holmes all of Atlanta, GA, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husbands Jack Brooks and Joe Davis, her parents Florence Mellett and Donald R. Mellett, and her brother, Don Mellett.
The funeral will be held Thursday September 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., preceded by visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Crown Hill Funeral Home in Indianapolis, IN.
