G. David Blue
77, Indianapolis, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 25, 2010. He was the son of the late G. Schuyler and Dorothea Canfield Blue. Husband to Cheryl L. Blue and the father of Bruce D. Blue and Lorayna J. Blue. Brother to Donald M. Blue and step father to David, Robert and Gardner (Tracy) Boonstra. He also had 3 granddaughters, 4 grandsons and 1 great grandchild. An Avid horseman, Dave was one of the original members of the Marion County Sherriff Horse Patrol. He also helped to write the rules to the Contest Riders Association and was a member of the Indiana Trail Riders. He also was a member of the Hamilton Masonic Lodge #33, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine. Dave was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School and Butler University. He was retired from Mayflower Transit as a Computer Specialist. Visitation will be from 2 pm until 6 pm Sunday August 29, 2010 in Crown Hill Funeral Home Chapel with services at 11 am Monday August 30, 2010 in the funeral home.
