Mr. Ernest Daniel Dean

Ernest Daniel Dean 85 of Indianapolis passed away April 9, 2010. Ernest was born in Kingswood, KY on October 29, 1924, the son of the late Silas A. and Martha Ann (Board) Dean. He was a retired Dock Foreman at Quaker Oats for 20 Years He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 1st Class and also served in the U.S. Army as a Private 1st Class in WW II. He was the husband of Cora Tema (Jones) Dean and she survives him along with a sister, Margaret Phyllis Carson, a brother, Paul Dean, a step–daughter Gale Jones, sisters in law; Carrie Long , Dora Dean and Frances Dean. Funeral Services will be Saturday April 17, 2010 at 12:00 PM in Crown Hill Funeral Home, with visitation from 11:00 AM. Interment with military honors will be in the Field of Valor of Crown Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.crownhill.org .
