MR. ROMARIEZ RASUL HALSELL, the son and grandson of Myka and Linda Halsell, was born February 22, 1997 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Known by family and friends as "Mariez", he enjoyed playing musical instruments, going to the park to play with his ball, as well as praise and worship at church on Sunday morning. You could always catch him looking up, as though he was communicating with God daily. He was such a happy child, 99% of the time smiling is how one could remember "Mariez". Many people say he was an "Angel" living amongst us. He often expressed his love for us with a warm hug. His brother and sister love expressing their love for one another with a hug.
Mr. Romariez Rasul Halsell departed this life on Saturday, August 22,2009 at the age of 12 years, 6 months, and 10 days old.
He leaves to cherish his memOlY: his mom, Myka R. Halsell; grandparents, Linda O. Halsell and Roy Lee Halsell, Sr.; uncle, Jerome R. Halsell; one brother, Roymelis R. Halsell-Newton; one sister, Myisha R. Coleman; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
