In Loving Memory of Jean Ann Campbell

Jean Ann Campbell 90, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital on December 27, 2016 after a sudden illness. Jean Ann was born on February 14, 1926 in Indianapolis to the late Irvin and Evelyn Heidenreich. After  graduating from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis, Jean Ann attended Indiana University in Bloomington for 2 years, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Jean Ann then completed her education at the Fashion Merchandising Institute in New York City before marrying her high school sweetheart, Thomas H. Campbell Jr., to whom she was happily married for 63 years until Tom’s passing in 2011. Jean Ann was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her two sons and two grandsons. She loved traveling with her husband Tom and loved the summers they spent on Lake Wawasee. Jean Ann also very much enjoyed volunteering with the Indianapolis Children’s Museum Guild. Jean Ann is survived by her sons; Thomas H. Campbell III and Jeff (Bobbie) Campbell; grandsons, Tommy IV and Scott, sisters; Sue (Chuck)Johnson, Carol (Ed) Sherwood, sister-in-law; Shirley Heidenreich and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 11:00 am at Gothic Chapel of Crown Hill Cemetery, with a funeral service 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Tabernacle Presbyterian Church and the Indianapolis Children’s Museum.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Gothic Chapel in Crown Hill Cemetery, with a service at 12pm.
