Anna “Ann” Maxine Fall

 

92, of Indianapolis died on May 22, 2017. Born October 5, 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Everett William and Ethel Florence (Crim) Hooper. Ann was an Interior Designer/Design Consultant for over 40 years for both Gerdt Furniture from 1973-1977, 1985-1987 and Rich Furniture from 1978-1985, 1988-2012. During her career she was presented the Beth Ann Brewer Award for professionalism in working with the public and furniture selling. Ann also was named one of the five top retail sales people in Indiana by the Indiana Home Furnishing Club for her work during the 1980’s. Ann atteneded both Butler University and Indiana Central and studied Graphic Representation. She also studied through the New York School of Interior Design. Ann was active as a choir member, Sunday school teacher, and Chairwoman of the Benevolence Committee at Garfield Park Church of God. Ann married Robert Nelson Fall on June 6, 1946. They were happily married for 66 years. Ann was preceded in death by her devoted husband Robert and her sons, Robert “Bobby” Nelson Fall II, and Robert Daniel “Dan” Sumner. She is survived by her 2 sons and their spouses, Francis Raymond “Frank” (Billie) Sumner, Craig (Sheila) Fall; daughter, Jacquelyn “Jackie” (Ronald) Davis and daughter in-law, Georgia Sumner Meese; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. – 2: 00 p.m., at Crown Hill Funeral Home, with services beginning at 2pm. Burial to immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Contributions can be made on behalf of Anna to the following organizations: Joy’s House; 2028 East Broad Ripple, Indianapolis Indiana 46220; Catholic Charities Indianapolis1400 North Meridian Street Indianapolis Indiana 4620 www.archindy.org; Programs for seniors:A Caring Place Adult Day Services, Caregiver Support, Senior Companion Program, Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
