Mr. Louie Wade Linthecome

July 14, 1927 - January 20, 2010

Louie Wade Linthecome was born July 14, 1927 to parents Louis and Zella Smith Linthecome in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Louie received his education in the Indianapolis Public School System and went on to continued on to graduate with an Associate Degree from the Purdue Extension Program as well as graduating from the Indianapolis Electronic School.

Louie was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army receiving Honorable Discharge in 1948. He was a member of the Tuskegee Airmen Association and the American Legion.

Louie was employed with Graham Electronics Supply for 15 years, then in the medical engineering department of the Krannert Institute of Cardiology for 27 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Institue of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and a life member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers. He also held a Commercial Radio Operators License since 1955.

Louis Wade Linthecome departed this life on January 20, 2010 at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 6 days. He leaves his loving wife of over 40 years, Marian Linthecome, to cherish his legacy.
