Anna E Morgan

June 27, 1931 - August 03, 2017

In Loving Memory of Anna E. Morgan

ANNA MAE HOLLAND EISON MORGAN was born on June 27, 1931 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the child of Lovelle Holland and Elizabeth Brim.  ANNA completed her primary and secondary education in Hopkinsville Kentucky. She graduated from Attucks High School in Christian County, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She later completed college and earned a Baccalaureate Degree.

At an early age ANNA professed a hope in Christ and dedicated her life to Him.

ANNA was united in holy matrimony to Jerome Eison (now deceased), the love of her life.  To this union was born Turishia Joyce Eison (Whitley) (now deceased). ANNA later married Houston Morgan (who preceded her in death).

ANNA was a member of the Executive Management team of United Northwest

Area Corporation. She loved the Lord with all her heart and devoted most of her adult life to serving God and His people.

She was devoted to the First Free Will Women’s Ministry, a strong advocate for women in ministry, loved the Seniors Ministry and anything that promoted God and uplifted the church.  ANNA served as interim Pastor of First Free Will Baptist Church prior to the installation of the current Pastor. She was an official for the Terre Haute District Conference, Free Will General Conference and a member of the GICCD Ecclesiastical Council. ANNA also served as the Assistant Pastor of First Free Will Baptist Church, Inc. until she was promoted to Assistant Pastor Emeritus which afforded her the liberty to retire from daily full-time service to the church.

Pastor ANNA Morgan was untiring when it came to the ministry and always had time for anyone in need of a listening ear or supportive shoulder.  She dearly loved her family and her church family.  No hour was too late to seek her wisdom and counsel.  She lived to do the work of the ministry.  She lived a full and fulfilling life and she was loved by many.  Her easy smile, infectious laughter, her kind and gentle nature will be missed by all who knew her.

ANNA EISON MORGAN departed this life on August 3, 2017 at the age of 86

years, one month, and 7 days. She leaves to cherish her memory:  four grandchildren, Shaun Whitley (Jessica), Tracy Denise Crowe, Michael Crowe Jr. who preceded her in death (Barbara), Keisha Whitley who preceded her in death; seven great-grandchildren:  Michael Crowe, Taylor Whitley, KeShaun Whitley, Dorian Winston, Jacqueline Wyse,  James Winston II (Alicia), Omarrie Wallace, and Tracy Nicole Talley—"Tray-Tray”; three great-great grandchildren:  Piper Renai-Marie Winston, Alexandria Malynn Winston and Reux Winston, and a host of other relatives and friends.
