Mrs. June A. Norcross

July 17, 1922 - January 15, 2010

June A. Norcross 87 of Indianapolis, passed away on January 15, 2010. She was born July 17, 1922 to Marguerite Simon and Theodore Holtman. Graduated from Manual High School, she played the flute and piccolo in the marching band and violin in the orchestra.
She married her high school sweetheart, Ralph Owen Norcross, Naval Officer, graduate of Purdue University, electrical engineer, who passed away 23 years ago. They were married 42 years.
She received her bachelor and master degrees in education from Indiana Central College, now know as The University of Indianapolis.
Her passions included art, gardening, traveling, teaching at school 65, music, membership at Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ and her family and friends.
Survivors include daughter, Ellen (Bob) Johnson, son, Paul (Nita) Norcross, grandson, Kenneth Johnson, granddaughters, Kim (Tim) Torrance, Emily, Jessica, and Rebecca Norcross, and 2 great granddaughters Kristen and Katherine Torrance.
A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ, 416 E. North St., Indianapolis, IN, 46202, Saturday, January 30 th at 11 am.
Memorial gifts may be given to Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ or the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
