In Loving Memory of Paul R. Wagley

Paul R. Wagley, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, the 13th. He has moved on to a much better place. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him and loved him. Paul was a 1939 graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indpls. He served in the Army during World War II. He was employed at Allisons in Speedway IN. For 36 years as an aircraft mechanic and later as a supervisor. He was a lifetime member of the Pike Township Lions Club and a 50 year member of the North Park Masonic Lodge. He was formerly a member of Avon United Methodist Church. He retired from Allisons in 1975 and enjoyed traveling, golfing and wintering in Florida until his wife’s death in 2006. He lived out his remaining years in Avon IN at The Hearth of Prestwick and Countryside Meadows. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Gladys McFarland Wagely, parents John and Nellie Wagley, brothers Jack and Jean and sister Winnifred Wagley Andrews. Paul is survived by his three children, Karen Teeguarden (mike, deceased), Corliss Wethington and Paul Jeff Wagley (Jackie), 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great children. 

 

Funeral Information

Services for Paul will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at Crown Hill Funeral Home’s Gothic Chapel, with calling from 12 p.m. until time of service. Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery.
