Mr. James Bell - Andrew Hatcher

January 29, 1963 - February 28, 2017

A Celebration of Life for James Bell, Andrew Hatcher a.k.a. Tony-O

James Bell was born on January 29, 1963 in Indianapolis, In. He was the second son to Betty Hatcher-Beck and Richard Webster.

James attended Indianapolis Public Schools and Arsenal Technical High School. During school everyone affectionately called him Tony-O or Bell. However, shortly after high school he legally changed his name to Andrew Hatcher.

Tony-O accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of Eastside Baptist Church, where he sang with the young adult choir. His love for music led him to sing with two additional groups, Sounds of Aquarius and The Rapture Family. As a child Tony-O played various sports like football and little league baseball, where he was coached by his step-father Jesse Beck. As a young man he went on to work with the Indiana Golden Gloves for many years. Tony-O was a very loving, and caring person who enjoyed making everyone laugh. He always kept a smile on his face that was contagious.

Tony-O worked in the construction field as an electrician with several electrical contractors. He also worked with Davis & Associates for a number of years. Just before his accident he was a maintenance man at one of our local apartment complexes.

On February 28, 2017, Tony-O went to sleep in the arms of the Lord at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his step-father. He leaves to cherish his memory, to his mother and father Betty Beck and Richard Webster. Three brothers, Richard, Andrea and Eric; three sisters Lisa, Mariah and India; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
