Jeffery Valentino "PayDay" Carter

February 14, 1962 - January 15, 2010

Jeffery Valentino Carter, affectionately known to many as "PayDay," passed away January 15, 2010. Jeffery's love for people led him to a career as the #1 waiter in several five star hotels. Always smiling and joking with the patrons, he never met a stranger. He always had a story to tell.

He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Jeanetta D. Seats; daughters, Pecola K. Carter and Antoinette Preston; brother, Antonio (Kathy) Carter; sisters, Joanetta (Charles) Seats, Wanda Carter, Angela (Rodney) Torrence; step-sister, Betty Ann Bunton; aunts, Aretha Norwood, Mable (Joseph) Brown, Velma Watley; uncle, Martin H. Seats; and a host of extended relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Crown Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held there from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010.
