Mr. Robert Clayton Eiler

October 29, 1921 - April 17, 2010

Robert Clayton Eiler 88 of Avon formerly of Mentone, Indiana, died April 17, 2010. Robert was born in Etna Green, IN on October 29, 1921, the son of the late Clarence Othie and Blanche Josephine (Welch) Eiler. He was a retired Insurance Executive. He attended Purdue University and served in the U.S. Army as a Captain in WW II and the Korean War. He was the widower of Rosella (McCutchen) Eiler. Robert is survived by his daughter Penny Kay (William) Parmenter of Madison, WI and a son, Fredrick Clayton (Elizabeth) Eiler of Frankfort, IN, two sisters, Kathryn Miekley and Winifred Eiler along with three grandchildren, Michael (Karla) Eiler, Matthew (Valerie) Eiler and Kimberly (Jack) Copenhaver and three great grandchildren Lexington, Kensington & Analia Eiler. Family Funeral Services were held at the Gothic Chapel of Crown Hill Cemetery and Funeral Home, Indianapolis, Indiana Friday, April 23, 2010. Interments with military honors were held in the Field of Valor of Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana. Memorial gifts may be made to World Missionary Press P. O.
