Robert "Bobby” Allen Jr. was born to proud parents, Anna Hawkins and Robert Allen Sr, on April 23, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Both parents preceded Bobby in death. Bobby attended Cathedral High School. After High School he attended Martin University. His work ethic was unmatched. His determination to get through the youth he came in contact with was a never ending task. He taught and spoke about character and mutual respect to the children on his bus because he sincerely cared about them and their future wellbeing. Bobby was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Carolyn for 18 years. He loved his wife Carolyn dearly and cherished her greatly. He was her protector and she was his number one princess. Bobby was a wonderful, loving and devoted father to his children and grandchildren. He was an extraordinary man of character. He was our educator, encourager, and greatest supporter. Bobby was an avid sports fan. He loved boxing, basketball, chess, and football. He especially loved supporting and watching his kids and grandchildren excel and participate in their individual sports. He was our biggest fan. His most valuable achievement and his passion was his love for Christ and spreading the Gospel. Robert “Bobby” Allen Jr. departed this life on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at the age of 71.
