He served on many elder and deacon boards, teaching and training youth. He was active in the Bill Glass/Chuck Colson prison ministry. He served on executive committees for three Billy Graham Crusades and served on many levels of Youth for Christ Indianapolis. All of these activities and accomplishments speak to the personal relationship Max had with his Lord and Savior. His family has benefited the most from Max’s dedicated time in prayer with the Lord. Grandpa was always interested in his children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s lives. Faithfully, he would offer each one to the Father in prayer. It was very evident time and time again that these prayers were answered.
