Mr. Gary Johnson Sr.

July 18, 1947 - May 14, 2010

Gary Johnson born July 18, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Myrtle A. Harris-Johnson and Benjamin Johnson.
He a.ttended Indianapolis Public Schools and Ivy Tech Community College. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vetnam era. Gary accepted Christ and was baptized in 1984 at Holy Angels Catholic Church and was a Knight of St. Peter Claver.
Gary Johnson met his soul mate, Judy Ann Patterson-Johnson and they were joined in a special love anointed by God. Together they loved and nurtured their children. Gary was a Pastry Chef, demonstrating his mastery skills at major hotels, and restaurants throughout the Indianapolis area. His father and youngest son Albert precedes him in life.
Gary Johnson was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend; Family meant everything to him. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife and dearest friend Judy A. Johnson, his adoring mother Myrtle-Rush, three sisters; Sheila Johnson, Denise Johnson-Curry and Dorress Johnson-Daniel. Seven children; Synetra A. Taylor, Michael Johnson, Gary, Johnson, Jr. Benjamin Johnson, Damon F. Johnson Alonzo J. Johnson, and Gail L. Johnson, 27 Grand children, 6 Great Grand Daughter, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
Gary went to be with his Heavenly Father May 14, 2010.
