Beverly Sue Edwards Dozier 57 of Indianapolis passed away July 24, 2009. Beverly was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 3, 1952, the daughter of the late James W. and Virginia A. (Glass) Edwards. She was currently employed as a Teacher, Lab Assistant at Ivy Tech Community College. Beverly is survived by two sons Barry Cummings, Jr and James W. Dozier, Jr. two sisters, Joyce A. Beaven, Maureen E. Washington and a brother James W. Edwards, Jr., a granddaughter Jaionna Twitty and a special sister Janice D. Law. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Kenneth D. Majied, and Ronald K. Edwards and longtime companion Curtis King. Funeral Services will be held at Second Baptist Church, 3705 Kessler Blvd N. Dr. Indianapolis, IN, at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2009 where friends may call 10 am - 12 pm. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
