Dearest Philip, I hope that you are resting peacefully. I have spent a week crying, laughing, remembering our youth & being family for 31 years. You were my brother, regardless of the situation. I loved having you live with us. There are many memories that you left on my heart. So much laughter, joy & pain that we shared & spoke of like siblings do. That we stayed. We stayed in touch & I miss you so much for your kindness, your heart & the caring person you rose into. We have been friends & family for over 35 years. I promise you that you will stay in my heart until the day I rest forever. Life is not fair, but you were so loved. I will miss you more than any one knows. You were always in my corner cheering for me & that meant so much. You did a fabulous job raising my only nephew. She would be proud of you. I cannot be there in person, but you'll always be with me, regardless of where life leads. I love you Philip! Life will not be the same without your kindness, generosity and smile. But, I am going to close my eyes & remember the good times, tears & all. Rest well, brother.
