Uncle, Curtis and i taking a nap with strawberry shortcake sleeping bag and Curtis toy gun.
So many memories come to mind.
I remember one time we were out at Aunt Brenda and Uncle’s cabin and the boys were shooting targets. I was in the little lookout cabin and pouting. Uncle asked “why you pouting?” I told him it was because I was a girl and I couldn’t shoot. He told me just because I was a girl didn’t mean I couldn’t shoot. That has stayed with me for always!
I remember going to grandma Opal’s house, we helped do little things, then we would go to White Castle’s happy meals then go visit Opal.
When I was 5ish Uncle and my mom were sitting having coffee, my mom got up to go to the restroom before we headed out. I asked Uncle if i could have some coffee he got up put some coffee, creamer and sugar in a cup and said shhhh don’t tell mommy. I have loved coffee ever since then!!
Daddy Page was a humble, and loving man. It was an honor to have known him. I know he will always be walking and protecting beside your families. Love and Prayers! Melissa and Greg Witecha
