Elijah James Taylor, the son of Jessica Taylor and Chester Irons (Step Father) was born October 25, 2003 in Riverside, California. He was baptized into the body of Christ at Martindale Church of Christ on June 23, 2013. He attended Vision Academy, Riverside High School and George Washington High School in Indianapolis, IN.
Elijah loved basketball, football and music. His plans were to attend Purdue University for Computer Engineering. He always had a smile on his face and loved everyone as one. His personality always brightened the room and at times he was silly, dancing or just being Elijah. He always loved to dress in suits and had a very loving spirit.
Elijah leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother Jessica Taylor, Chester Irons (Step Father), brothers; Cayden Irons, Chester Irons, Jquan Irons, Chester J. Irons, Darnell Parks Jr. (Dj), KeMonte Owens, Nomorea Owens, sister Danita Howard, Grandfather Billie J. Taylor (Karen), Grandmother L'Tanya D. Elliott, Grandmother Joyce Parks, Great Grandmother's Elizabeth Brisco, Anna K. Elliott, Uncle and Aunt Billie J. Taylor Jr. (Ariel), Father Darnell L. Parks Sr.; a host of other relatives, family and friends.
Elijah was a bright light in social studies at Vision Academy. He joked with a lighthearted nature. Worked hard. I especially remember his living history contribution for Black History presentation. He was effective, engaging, and informative. Charming spirit will be missed.
