Yoshanda Glazebrooks-Allen

Location Manager

Yoshanda, known to most as “Yo”, is the Location Manager at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery and has been a Licensed Funeral Director for 19 years. She is a native of Hammond, Indiana and a 1995 graduate of Hammond High School. Yoshanda received her Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from Vincennes University in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011. She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Indiana Select Funeral Directors Association.

Yoshanda is a member of Mount Paran Baptist Church. She shares that her career mission is to encourage, engage, and influence with positive leadership and to provide continued support and guidance to the families that are served through Crown Hill Funeral Home.

Yoshanda currently resides in Fishers, IN with her husband Preston, and is the proud mother of two sons; Diquis (currently a service member in active duty of the US Army) and James, a student at Anderson High School. She enjoys spending time with her boys and supporting their endeavors and going on family vacations.

 


Erin Hinton

Care Center Manager

Erin is an Ivy Tech Mortuary graduate in her second career. She continues her education by attending restorative art classes and advanced embalming technique seminars, whenever she can. Erin is fortunate to be able to follow this path and enjoy bringing peace to the families she serves. She is a licensed cosmetologist for 27 years and a military wife to Don, with a college aged daughter, Ryan. When not working, Erin enjoys live music at any venue.

 


William Young

Funeral Director

William A. Young, C.F.S.P. Funeral Director & Embalmer, is an Indiana and Ohio licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is a native of Anderson, Indiana. He is a 2003 graduate of Anderson High School, a 2005 graduate of Vincennes University School of Funeral Service and Embalming where he graduated class vice president, and a 2009 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Business (cum laude), an Indiana licensed insurance agent, certified funeral celebrant, and a notary public commission #652749. He is a member of the Indiana Select Funeral Directors Association, The Buckeye State Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association, The National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, National Funeral Directors Association, The Academy of Professional Funeral Practice (CFSP), Peerless Lodge #32 F&A.M., and El Zora #124 of the Mystic Shrine. William attends with his family Second Missionary Baptist Church. William is also a police officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department where he works the southwest and downtown districts. His hobbies include golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

 


Jennifer Biszantz

Funeral Director

Jennifer is a mother of three boys and resides in Johnson County. She has been in the death care business for 9 years. Jennifer graduated from Mid-American College of Mortuary Science in the fall of 2010, in 2016, graduated with a Bachelors in Funeral Service Management.

Jennifer is currently a Deputy Coroner for Johnson County. When she is not running her boys to their FFA and 4-H invents she enjoys a good murder mystery books and a good game of racquetball.

Jennifer is currently the President of the Marion County Funeral Directors Association and the Historian for the ladies auxiliary for the American Legion Post 205. She is also a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Indiana Funeral Directors Association.

Jennifer certifications include: CANA, Mass Fatality and State Certified Death Investigator.

 


Norris Gilbert

Funeral Director

Norris L. Gilbert, CFSP, HRSM, resides in the Northside of Indianapolis, IN with his wife Katrice. He is the youngest of twelve siblings. Norris started in the funeral service industry at the age of 12 years old. He began his career as a Funeral Service attendant; making sure the cleanliness of the vehicles and building was maintained. On behalf of the development of his success, Norris has practices in cremation and funeral service apprenticeships.

Norris is an Alumni from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where his earned his Associate Applied Science and Indiana Wesleyan University where he earned his Bachelors of Management with a Concentration of Human Resource Management. Upon the completion of his mortuary studies, Norris decided he should obtained his Certified Funeral Service Practitioner recognition.

Norris is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) and Marion County Funeral Directors Association (MCFDA).

In Norris’ spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. Also, proactively being a positive example to motivate the youth becoming a great factor in their community.

Norris philosophy is “If I can help someone in need, I know my living is not in vain.”

 


John Sampson

Funeral Director

John transferred to Crown Hill in late 2018 to assist families in the central Indianapolis area. John enjoys serving the Indianapolis community and is extremely proud to be part of such a dynamic and caring team of professionals. John values his work guiding families through the most difficult part of life and does so with a deep sense of reverence and respect.
When he is not serving families, John prefers to stay busy. He will often be at home working on his house, camping, hiking, kayaking, mushroom hunting, playing with his dogs, building computers, gardening, and spending time with his wife and family.

 


Clinneka Cobb

Funeral Director

Clinneka joined the Crown Hill team in 2016 as a Funeral Director Apprentice. In January of 2018, she transitioned into her role of a Licensed Funeral Director. Clinneka always had an interest for funeral service, and had debated on going to school for mortuary science for a while. However, it wasn’t until her grandmother’s passing that she realized what her true calling was.

Clinneka is a proud member of our Crown Hill team. She is very compassionate, and she is an experienced professional who understands that each family is unique in a very special way. Clinneka’s caring personality and pride in her work has made her an asset to our Crown Hill family.

Clinneka is a native of Gary, Indiana and she graduated from West Side High school. She also attended Ivy Tech community college where she obtained her degree in Mortuary Science. While studying for her degree at Ivy Tech, Clinneka became a Bowen Scholar, A McClelland Scholar, and she also became a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Clinneka has one child who she loves dearly, in her spare time she loves to travel, eat, write and read.

 


Dominique Battles

Funeral Director

Dominique Raspberry- Battles is a native of Gary, IN and has lived in Indianapolis, IN since 1996. Dominique is a Licensed Funeral Certified Crematory Operator by the NFDA. She is the Forensic Autopsy Supervisor and a certified Medical Death Investigator with the Marion County Coroner’s Office.

Dominique is an instructor for IUPUI’s pathology master’s program and for the Indiana Chaplaincy Training Institute.

Dominique received her Mortuary Science degree from Vincennes University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan.

She is a member of National Funeral Director Association, Indiana Funeral Director Association, Indiana State Coroner Association and International Medical Examiner & Coroner Association.

 


Robert Wagner

Funeral Director Intern

Robert is a graduate of The Mortuary Science program at Ivy Tech Community College of Lawrence. He is a married father of one. When not performing his duties at the funeral home, Robert enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and listening to music.
